How to create a balanced team in Sidyq

🕒 Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

In many games, the classic recipe for a balanced team consists of a tank, a DPS and a healer. This proven composition provides good defense, solid offensive capacity and support for survival.

However, in Sidyq, this configuration, although effective in some cases, is not always the most optimal.

🧩 Archetypes and flexibility: thinking outside the box

Each monster has an archetype and a spell kit that naturally orient its role: tank, DPS, support, etc.

However, in Sidyq:

  • Nothing is set in stone.
  • The relics equipped modify statistics and can completely change the function of a monster.
  • The spell combinations can surprise, opening the door to innovative approaches.

It is therefore necessary to think out of the box and imagine adapted compositions for each fight, by exploiting the unique strengths of each creature.

⚔️ Breaking conventions: atypical compositions and synergies

It is not always necessary to have a "classic" composition. Some teams can be composed exclusively of:

  • DPS ranged, to harass and control the terrain
  • Pure tanks, able to hold the line and protect each other
  • Combinations around utility spells, which prioritize control, buff/debuff, or placement

These compositions can reveal incredible synergies, especially designed to face complex situations.

🎯 Adapting your team to the specific challenges of bosses

The bosses in Sidyq do not fight in the same way as standard monsters. They may require specialized compositions, for example:

  • Monsters capable of reducing the range of enemy spells
  • Characters to reduce the duration of enemy buffs
  • Units focused on pushing enemies to control distance
  • Creatures that apply certain special statuses to exploit the weaknesses of the boss

The diversity of the bestiary allows you to adapt as closely as possible to the tactical requirements of each encounter.

💡 The most important: your enjoyment and your play style

In the end, the best team is the one you enjoy playing.

The richness of the monsters and their diversity of spell kits offers an infinite number of possibilities for creating teams that suit you.

Whether it's strategic compositions, original combos or alignments based on your personal style, the essence is to find pleasure and effectiveness.
